Irma Zack MVP Endowment Fund
The Irma Zack MVP (Mitzvah of Valuing Philanthropy) Endowment Fund was established to honour the memory of a woman who lived her life committed to the Jewish values embodied by the concept of tikkun olam. Our wife/mother/grandmother, Irma, believed in and taught her children and grandchildren about the importance of social responsibility and living by the principles of Jewish ethics.
In creating the MVP program, Irma’s daughter was inspired by the example of her mother, her master teacher. Our hope is that, in the spirit of Irma Zack, this endowment fund will support in perpetuity the efforts of teachers at Vancouver Talmud Torah to inspire young people to assume the mantle of responsibility and begin a lifelong commitment to making a difference in the world.
