Zalkow Family Endowment Fund

Our family originates from Lithuania. We escaped the Holocaust arriving in Vancouver in January 1941. Canada gave us a wonderful opportunity to rebuild our lives in a peaceful tolerant environment. The Vancouver Jewish community extended to us a warm embrace. To both Canada and the Vancouver Jewish community we are forever grateful and wish to do our part to ensure a just society continues to prevail for future generations.
